Multicoloured Rainbow filament test
thingiverse
Experiment with vibrant Faberdashery PLA filament led to a challenging test for Skeinforge. The design incorporated numerous sections for bridging and thin layers, changing colors. This proved difficult as Skeinforge struggles with curve bridging angles, resulting in some gaps and dips. A different rainbow pattern could improve the appearance, but this test aimed to gauge filament performance on a Prusa Mendel 'Bling' machine. See it print in this video: http://www.youtube.com/user/RichRap2011#p/a/u/1/UA97cC1QfM8, and for more info visit www.richrap.blogspot.com. To avoid a dull appearance, multiple colored sections are recommended. Learn how to make filament joiners in the other projects section.
