Multicolored Happy Birthday Button with magnetic back
thingiverse
A wearable button designed specifically for birthday celebrations can be created with a unique design that accommodates up to four colors. The button is engineered to work seamlessly with 8mm x 3mm neodymium magnets, where one magnet is press-fit into an inset hole and the other magnet is strategically placed behind clothing to secure the button in place. To achieve this multi-colored design, follow these printing instructions: 1. Begin by printing blue on the first layer. 2. Switch to red at layer 11, ensuring the first balloon's top surface is complete before making this change. 3. Move to green at layer 21, guaranteeing the button's top surface is fully printed before proceeding. 4. Finally, print yellow at layer 26, completing the second balloon's top surface before applying the final color. The first balloon and back of the button will be the initial color, while the surface color of the button will be the second color. The second balloon will take on the third color, and the text will be the fourth color. There is some flexibility in choosing layer heights for color changes, so use your slicer's layer view to find optimal points within your print. If you're interested in incorporating alternative words or objects onto the button, feel free to let me know.
