multicolor prusa style sign generator (nameplates for humans or printers)
thingiverse
I'm using this font, 'scad', as a close-enough option for printing a big nameplate on my printers. It's specifically designed for the MMU2 or other multifilament printers, where color layers overlap and intermingle, requiring extra effort to achieve with manual filament swaps. To use it, simply select your label, adjust the width and height if needed (the font height will be calculated automatically), run it with "base()" and "lettering()" enabled. Then, comment out "base()" and run it again. This will give you two STLs that can be imported into Slic3rPE. If there's enough interest, I'll refine the script to work seamlessly in Customizer. However, running it locally is straightforward and easy to do.
