Multicolor 5-6 Player storage for Settler 2.0
thingiverse
This is my inaugural major assembly and overhaul here on thingiverse. It's a storage system for settler 2.0 series players in the main game and 5-6 players. It leverages multicolor printing for identification of hex resources, focusing on several key advantages: - The first multi-color storage system designed for 5-6 players - A slide-in mechanism for hex tiles that requires no adapters - The ability to turn the system upside down without damaging the tiles - Minimal color changes and a compact waste tower - Interlocking storage parts for a stable and proper assembly - A smart central piece for storing player cards, 5+6 players, and more - Optimized for a i3-mk3 print table - Designed to work with a 0.3mm layer height (.4mm nozzle) for faster printing Distances: - One storage compartment: 20 water units at 10mm, 5 ore units at 27mm, 5 brick units at 24mm - Two storage compartments: 6 forest tiles at 21mm, 6 sheep tiles at 22mm, 2 desert tiles at 19mm, 6 wheat tiles at 20mm, 1 water unit at 10mm, 1 water unit at 23mm Update 2020-05-23 I've added a video demonstrating how to open the box without the tiles falling out: https://youtu.be/L0J31p2EP6Q Additionally, I've uploaded an alternative file called storage_cover_NoSheep which is missing two images on the sides, but may print better if you experience issues with the original file.
