Howdy, wonderful people! It's vase mode bauble time again! There's something really satisfying about coming up with ways to make shiny, baubly things that print with a single wall, but I really wondered if there was a good way to make them a little more varied in colour. So, here we have baubles that print in three parts - a middle and two sides. The side pieces slide onto their guide rails from above until they reach stoppers at the bottom. There are four different patterns, and while the obvious thing to do would be to match the middle and outer pieces there's no reason you can't mix and match - the inner shape is the same on each, so they'll fit in any combination.Print DescriptionThis is a vase mode print in parts, so set your slicer accordingly! You'll need two side pieces to each middle piece. If printing strictly in vase mode, you'll need to print each model individually, though you can of course just print with a single wall and no infill and get a very similar result.Print DimensionsThe middle part of the baubles is the largest part, occupies 62mm x 59mm on the print bed, and is 103mm tall.Supports Needed? Not at all! Designed for straightforward printing!ScalabilityBeing vase mode, these will scale easily! There will obviously be some loosening of the fit between the parts as things scale up, but you can either just scale the outer parts a little more, or glue things together as need be.Print OrientationBoth the middle and the sides print right-way up.Further ThoughtsA quick search tells me that this is the third year of vase mode baubles! Has it really been that long since those first ones with the tricky tie-in point at the top that sneakily got around vase mode limitations? Time flies!Merry printing!xoxoSven. ---538 Multibaubles
