Multiband Fan Dipole Antenna Spreaders
thingiverse
I'm designing an antenna support system using spreaders to space out wires on a fan dipole. A 3-inch gap is maintained between each wire, allowing for efficient spacing. To accommodate this setup, I created spacers that can be placed approximately 2 feet apart along the antenna. For a 20/40 meter dipole, I fabricated twenty spacers to achieve the desired spacing. In contrast, forty spacers were printed for a 40/80 meter dipole to ensure optimal wire separation. Other amateur radio enthusiasts suggest using one spacer every ten feet, which can be an effective approach as well. I would like to extend my gratitude to KA5KXW for providing the initial design drawing that inspired this project.
