This ultra-convenient container is cleverly designed and provides numerous functions. Its primary role is as a single unit. I utilize it to store all the screws and bolts when working on DIY or Some Assembly Required projects. By storing them in this little box, I keep everything organized, avoiding the frustration of lost screws throughout my workshop. The slot in the front makes it easy to dump everything into a container (plastic bag / original box) when I'm finished. The second function is as a storage compartment. If you've printed both the lid and base, then you have two screw catchers to use in your project. When I reach a stopping point, I simply put the lid on the box, creating a robust container that ensures everything stays where I left it. This would also be perfect for long-term storage of smaller parts. The design allows the parts to be scaled to fit my storage needs. Finally, I can fill the base with frequently needed parts and orient the two notches together. This creates a dispenser hole in the box so I can shake out a controllable quantity much like Tic-Tacs.
