Multi-tool holder V 1.3
thingiverse
So this is my first crack at creating a belt case for my Gerber Suspension. I'm only now printing it out, so be patient - unsure how it's going to work. First time I've even designed anything on Fusion 360. So I've gone back and edited the design; it now shows dimensions I feel will work better. Although I kept the belt hanger the same thickness, I have increased the width to make it sturdier, and the belt area by 1MM for thicker possible belts. The interior dimensions were off by 5MM, making it a tight fit - I've increased them accordingly so that it should be tight enough for a snug fit without being over-tight. This is best printed vertically. So now I have printed this out, and the measurements are spot on. I will try to develop a stronger belt loop in the future but it will require field testing for now. So I've gone back and changed a few things - I took away the bottom cut-out and just widened the slot because my finger wouldn't fit in the small section. I also put a belt catch at the bottom of the belt holder, because when I'd grab for the tool, the whole thing would come off my belt, not just the tool.
