Multi Tool Case - Bear Grylls

Maker Bot Replicator 2\n1h57m\n2 layer\n0.2mm resolution \nA precision-made belt sheath designed specifically for the Gerber Bear Grylls Multi tool. View detailed images for clarity.\nThe original design involved photocopying the tool with a ruler to scale down the measurements accurately and enable precise tracing within Rhino 3D.\nTo ensure seamless printing without any interruptions, I crafted this model as a single-part print without the need for supports. Even though the raft is minimal and only requires a few seconds to build, I added it to guarantee strong adhesion to the build plate.\nThe current case design comes with one significant drawback: its usability on a daily basis leaves much to be desired. Designed likely to withstand harsh paratrooper training conditions, it fails to meet everyday usage expectations due to being overly tight. To improve upon this issue, I created a custom belt sheath that offers just the right amount of snugness – perfect for everyday use.\nI deliberately kept the design on the looser side, acknowledging room for further refinement based on future testing and feedback from users who may opt for it with their other multi tools. The end goal is to ensure maximum functionality in real-world scenarios while offering an alternative solution to the restrictive original case.
