Multi-spool holder for Wall Control Peg board and Prusa MMU2s
cults3d
Multi Spool holder for use with Wall control pegboard. This is an updated version of my previous spool holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3329292). Changes include: - Complete redesign from scratch. - Stronger build - Removed the brake that is no longer required for MMU2s - Assembly and disassembly are much easier, and no longer result in broken spool arms or spool wheel pins. The new design still uses the 608RS bearings, but in addition now also uses the metal rods that come with the Prusa MMU2 / MMU2s spool holders. Print: Arms = Number of spools +1 Spool Wheel = Number of spools x2 Spacers = Number of spools x4 (optional) Bearing caps = Number of Arms Ie: if you want 5 spool holders to use with Prusa MMU2s, then you would need: 6x Arms 10x Spool Wheel 20x Spacers 6x Bearing Caps (Optional) Assembly: 1. Mount the arms on the wall control pegboard at the appropriate distance - 4 slots between arms (total width of six slots) 2. Insert spacers into both ends of each spool wheel. 3. Insert metal rods through spacers and spool wheels. 4. Place a bearing on each end of the spool wheels on steel rods. 5. Place assembly on arms 6. Put the bearing caps on top of bearing/arm assembly (optional) See also the following optional items: Wall Control Filament Guide: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3571711 Wall Control Pegboard hooks for Prusa MMU2s filament buffer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3571710 Wall Control Peg-board can be found on Amazonhttps://amzn.to/2VoL68A Please consider leaving a TIP for my time designing and testing this model.
