Multi Function Workbench made by CNC
thingiverse
I revamped my project, crafting it with precision using a router. I'm now developing two distinct versions - one designed with CNC technology and another utilizing a router in September. Click on "watch" to stay updated. The original concept by Steve Olson can be found at https://www.thisiscarpentry.com/2015/04/03/multi-function-work-bench/ My adaptations include: - I upgraded the hose slot for my Karcher WD6 vacuum, increasing it from 27mm (standard with Festool vacuums) to 34mm (my Karcher WD6 vacuum hose). - I reduced the width of the shelves to accommodate my Stanley FatMax bi-material trestles (from 546mm to 450mm), found at http://www.stanleyoutillage.fr/products/detail/Produits/AM%C3%89NAGEMENT+POSTE+DE+TRAVAIL+/TR%C3%89TEAUX/TR%C3%89TEAU+BIMATI%C3%88RE+AJUSTABLE+FATMAX%C2%AE+-+LOT+DE+2+PCS. - I rounded the corners and added three deep troughs. - I simplified the transportation handles, using a single router template. - I resized the dimensions to full metric. I'm working with 22mm MDF panels (the maximum size for compatibility with clamps), but 20mm is actually ideal.
