This compact switch weighs approximately 1.65 grams and measures 14x14x7mm (excluding hose barb and electrical contacts). The switch consists of just eight parts, with two identical ones used twice, reducing manufacturing requirements to six unique parts. Its simplicity and affordability stem from the use of electrically conductive rubber diaphragms made of nickel-coated graphite-filled silicone. These diaphragms can be customized in terms of elasticity and thickness, enabling the switch to work across a wide range of pressures. The switch operates with positive pressure, vacuum, or both (like in sip/puff switches) and features adjustable pressure settings on both ends.
