Multi Cluster 2.5 inch hdds raspberry pi etc
thingiverse
I resized the existing design to accept 2.5 inch hdds. You will probably need spacers for the screws. Made Caddys for: Raspberry Pis (90 degree cable needed for ports on the side) 2.5 inch hdds usind ugreen sata to usb 3 A Adapters(The smallest/cheapest I could find) 2x PiZero optimised for POE-hat use. (Very high, clears only without IO-Pins, normal usb Power might need 90 degree cables) Arduino Uno or Mega (accepts both) 3x NVME SSDs. Should fit any usb-c adapter card( just shuck any adapter, uses normal ssd holes, pick which ones you don't use, You might need a higher stand off for the center ssd to clear the other pcbs) 8x12cm Prototype PCBs (for those of you who want to make a custom solution with open Bottom, so you can work on it in the frame, larger hole to accomodate poor QC on PCB, probably needs washers) Blank Caddy (just add whatever holes or glue you need) might add a version for dampened hdds later. Added holes to the rack so you can screw multiples together in any direction. Rack size can be easily adjusted with fusion360. Added 2u Version and added full 1-5u spectrum to fusion360 file.
