Multi Chain Sprocket Generator

I have designed this parametric file to easily generate all sorts of sprockets and chain wheels for chain transmission. It mainly generates the tooth profile. You can then have the parts cut with a laser or CNC machine. To vary the file, go to 'Equation' in SolidWorks and play with the pitch, roller diameter, and plate thickness to generate the piece you need. I also add the table that I use to get the correct values according to different chain standards.The gear teeth are generated using the true (complex) method recommended by the MPTA (Mechanical Power Transmission Association) as described in the following link: http://gearseds.com/files/design_draw_sprocket_5.pdf. I also used this guy video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfeDy47PRKcDo not forget, after laser cutting, to chamfer each side to facilitate the engagement of the teeth with the chain links.
