Multi brand modular paint case

Custom designed modular paint storage system. I designed this to take advantage of my available vertical space, since I don't have much horizontal space on my desk to store paints. Due to its modular nature, it is designed to be able to store various different brands of paint with only the inserts required to be swapped out as needed. Additional levels can also be added as needed as long as the brackets aren't glued or welded in position. Printing and assembly Although I had originally intended this to be entirely snap fit, a test with a full tray of paints showed that it was rather fragile - although it did still work. I would recommend either glueing or welding the components together. Do not glue/weld any of the brackets to the walls, they are tight enough to hold the parts in place as they are, and will allow additional levels to be added as required at a later point. As you can see from the pics, the brackets will quite easily hold the tray in place while extended. There are some small test parts that you can print to ensure that your overhangs are good enough before committing to printing full sections. The tabs are intentionally tight, so there is no tolerance provided on the X and Y axis on them, and only a 0.5mm tolerance allowed for on the Z axis. I would recommend tree supports to the build plate only. It should be easy enough to understand what needs to be printed and how it goes together. File names indicate where the part goes, the purpose of the part, and how many you need to print per level. For example, "V3 Top_bottom - Frame back - (2).stl" is the back part of both the top and bottom levels frame, 2 of these should be printed for the level. The renders are also colour coded so you can see what parts are the same, and have the file names included. Names and a "!" next to the part indicates that there are two versions of the part to choose from. I have included some test files for each of the inserts in the even you want to check your paints fit without printing the full insert. The pictures that I have posted so far of the printed model are actually of the prototype rather than the finished version. The completed version has thicker walls
