This was due to the design being primarily focused on being was water proof as possible. To solve this problem, this based clips on to the bottom of the stem and houses a battery holder so that the water fountain can be placed anywhere, along with extra wiring to allow the user to power by a DC power supply. # Electronics The electronics for this are incredibly simple, an adjustable LM2596 Buck converter is used to control the motor speed.
