Multi-axis rotating Platonic solids
thingiverse
**Feb 2023 update** I uploaded a video of the finished 3D print. The initial plans for the base were modified to allow it to rotate using bearings from an old rollerblade wheel, and I might (?) try adding an electromagnetic circuit to see if it might oscillate on its own. STL files soon, just in case anyone else wants to spend some less-than-productive time like I did. **Original (Nov 2022)** My current project. I'll upload individual files once I (hopefully) get it finished, but for now I put up the whole model's STL file just so it can be seen. I wouldn't recommend printing it. The Blender animation was a learning experience. Much frustration for a beginner. Phew! Thanks go out to the super nice folks at the Fort Worth Library for the use of their 3D printers!
