Mulan Lite BL Frame
thingiverse
This is a work in progress project that's really taking off. Just yesterday, I successfully cut out my first carbon fiber frame from a 1.5mm thick plate and it flies like a dream. 2020-3-15: Update I've just added a battery mount for two 1S batteries, which should be printed with TPU material. 2019-1-30: Update The camera mount for my Mobula 7 is now in place. This frame was inspired by Kabab FPV's Toothpick Frame and shares the same parts. It's powered by an 0802 16000KV motor, which gives it a lot of power. To reduce the wheelbase, I used a 56mm Ladybug prop instead of the usual 65mm size. This change also eliminated the need to extend the 0802 motor wires. The result is a frame that weighs only 39g! With a 250mah 2s battery, this thing can fly for up to 7 minutes straight. My carbon fiber supplier supports step files, so I've attached one for you. I cut out this frame from a 1.5mm thick carbon fiber plate.
