Sharpen your knives using an old kitchen mug's unglazed rim, which is abrasive and safe for usage. I improved on benchapman's design by creating an OpenSCAD version that can be printed upright to avoid support needs. Adjust the parameters in the SCAD file according to your mug and knife dimensions. If required, form and adjust the thermoplastic after printing by holding it under hot water and pressing it onto the mug or prying open the slots with a knife. After cooling, it will retain its new shape and provide perfect sharpening. Refer to pictures and benchapman's original videos for guidance on usage. Now, you can enjoy sharp knives easily!
