Mudtrooper Face Mask or Respirator Hardware (Buckle and Clip)

Respirator hardware for a Mudtrooper build is designed to work seamlessly with Sean Field's Mudtrooper 3D model available at mudtrooper.co.uk. The compression ladder glide fits snugly against the mask, allowing for secure strapping attachment and is specifically intended for use with a 3/4" webbing strap as shown in the picture. To improve functionality, I've updated the files to include a reproduction of the clip hardware used on the respirator strapping obtained from a "Small Yugoslavian Backpack". This clip hardware can be sourced from military surplus shops like Colemans for approximately $15 USD. For the printed version to work effectively, you'll need to print it flat and insert a 3/4" D-ring into the small closed end of the main clip before closing the loop. Additionally, you'll require a 2mm pin/rivet and a torsion spring (McMaster-Carr part number 9271K101) to attach the closure and make it functional. Given the affordable cost of the backpack and potential reliability issues with a 3D printed version, I strongly recommend purchasing the backpack to obtain the hardware. Alternatively, you can print the two included files, glue them together, and create a non-functional buckle that meets basic approval requirements if needed.
