Sculpted in Trafalgar Square (London) by Damian and Kilian Van Der Velden to honor the Ypres/Passchendaele Centenary, a poignant tribute stands. Crafted with sand blended with mud from Passchendaele, the sculpture will gradually erode as it stands for four days, washed away by raindrops. On Monday, I plan to share an updated version without its plinth, followed by a second model showcasing further deterioration on the final day.
