If you find this design useful, consider showing your appreciation by hitting that "Tip Designer" button to help support more designs. My commuter bike has suspension forks without eyelets for full-length mudguards, so clip-ons and half-size mountain bike mudguards wouldn't cut it. The diameter of the forks is 38mm, which influenced the curve of the mount. Most forks are similar in size. I created two different designs with varying curves based on where you need this bracket to sit. Choose one that suits your needs, as both have nut traps on each side. This bracket is designed for mounting using two cable ties and foam-backed double-sided tape (3M VHB will work). The nut traps are tight; heat them gently or scale up the print by 1-2% if needed. Hardware requirements include M3/M4 screws, washers, locknuts, and spring washers. Make sure to have spare cable ties in case one breaks. I learned a lesson recently: always use locknuts to avoid losing one. This design is small enough to fit between post mounts on my forks and around the caliper. You might need to bend your mudguard stays with pliers to reach around, but it should work for most bikes. Print Settings: Printer: Mini Fabrikator Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 55% Notes: Printing in a weatherproof material and black color will help the design blend in with your bike frame. I used PLA and printed on a raft to make removal easier, but you can save plastic by not using a raft if possible. I designed this thing using Tinkercad. You can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/47TBe6GZiom. Feel free to improve or remix the design; just let me know if it's useful and post pictures so we can all benefit.
