Mudguard
thingiverse
I need a front mudguard for my big ride ahead and decided the easiest DIY method would be to make one out of a plastic folder using an online template, so I designed one instead! Mounts to your front fork with a couple of zip ties. Make sure it fits properly and is held securely. You definitely don't want your new mudguard coming loose and getting stuck between your lower crown and tire – this will result in a painful trick involving a summersault and incredible amounts of discomfort. Proceed at your own risk, you've been warned! I tested the guard on a 21-mile singletrack ride through a thunderstorm, and it probably worked but I was too soaked to really notice. The .3dm files are included if you want to make any changes.
With this file you will be able to print Mudguard with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Mudguard.
