Update 2022-0307 I don't like the angle of the front of the drawer seems to print "thin" my print failed as it reached this the PLA dug a channel in the feeder and created enough friction that the stepper could not overcome. I remodeled some aspects and cleans up some parts of the model and updated all the files. delete what you have an redownload. same names for all files -------------------------------------------------------- I had to do some alterations and hacking. removing little bits here that break vase mode etc.. (curved top surfaces pointed convergences) and since its so much larger I added reinforcement "ribs" throughout as well as some external ribs inside for that rear angled surface which was "dicey" for vase mode. the ribs will help with that. the bottom is thick 2mm thick so 5 layers at 0.4mm. I have included gcode for PLA and 200x200 and 300x300 platens where its open honeycomb bottom layers and just 2 solid layers (less plastic less slop and less print time its about 3.5 hours. you don't need any top layers if your not putting "small things" in it that might pass through the infill. This is designed specifically for 0.6mm nozzles and 0.4mm layer heights though lower layer heights should work fine. I am printing a test now. I will post pictures and update in the morning especially if something goes wrong :-) if you print this in vase with 0.4mm nozzle the ribs WILL NOT attach!!! if enough people want this size with ribs for 0.4mm I can do one. its just a pita so only if people want it. DEFINITELY would have to print at 0.2mm layers with a 0.4mm nozzle though. This slices fine in S3D (factory included) do NOT rotate the model. if you rotate it 180' you get glitches :-) It seems to slice fine in prusa slicer as well (slicers can be funny with complex vase mode models.) Don't be afraid to lower the extrusion flow rate I run my weedo with the CHT knockoff from aliexpress at 90% and it prints great. unless you have an efficient hot end you will probably have to print between 30 and 40mm/s you are extruding 300% more plastic per linear mm of travel at these settings. trust me its fast enough :-) Lower speed higher VOLUME it makes a big difference. My settings are 5 perms 25% full honey for the first 6 layers (no bottom layers basically) then I add 2 solid top layers. then I switch to vase mode single perm vase 0.6mm x 0.4mm 222c 60c 35mm/s 100% fan. I don't know how to do this in prusa slicer so I would just drop it into the bed platen 2mm so you only have 3 solid bottom layers and then vase mode 3 bottom layers.
