V1.2 fixed. Problems with fan wings hitting the guides have been resolved.\r\n\r\nThe first print of v1.2 encountered issues with clogged vent holes and did not fit as tightly as desired. However, by tinkering with the retraction settings and using a razor to fix the vent holes, I was able to achieve success with the second print. Finer print settings enabled me to get it to fit perfectly. The black ABS material looks great.\r\n\r\nA picture of the completed product is on its way.\r\n\r\nThe beta STL-file has been removed and V1.2 has been uploaded.\r\n\r\nWork on V2.0, which includes a small box, is currently underway.\r\n\r\n- - - - - - - - - - - -\r\n\r\nThis project is still in its beta phase.\r\nMy first 3D creation was printed on my brand new Ender 3 printer. Initially, I planned to print a fan duct from Thingiverse but decided instead to create a snap-on design when I finally assembled the printer. I printed it in PLA and, much to my surprise, the first print fit perfectly - however, a major flaw became apparent: the fittings were one half millimeter too long, causing them to hit the fan. Despite attempting to rectify this issue with some light sanding, no solution could be found. A revised model is currently being worked on and will be printed in black ABS as soon as possible to achieve a snugger fit for better aesthetics.\r\n\r\nOnce completed, I will update the design accordingly.
