MTG Deck Box

The original design is a masterpiece of engineering, with diagonally cut sides that allow you to print two identical parts that fit together seamlessly. This clever design enables you to assemble the entire part from just two components. The new design, featuring full sides and/or Library/Graveyard elements, boasts left/right sides, making it an ideal solution for holding a standard deck and sideboard. I designed this innovative model to be held together with precision 1/8" x 1/4" magnets. Layer thickness may not make a significant difference, but infill density is crucial. To achieve optimal results, I recommend a 15 or 20% infill rate. This will ensure that your prints are sturdy and durable. You'll find various versions of the files available: * Without the iconic "M" logo * With the distinctive "M" logo * Without "sidemag" holes to secure it when open * With "sidemag" holes to hold it together when open On August 22, 2018, I made a significant change by discarding the "un-Enlarged" versions on my PC. If you prefer these files for any of the modifications I'm making, please let me know. As of August 22, 2018, each version now features an "Enlarged" alternate that is 2mm larger on the inside. This upgrade ensures that your cards will fit comfortably in UltraPro sleeves, providing a snug and secure fit. On August 26, 2018, I made further adjustments to the "Enlarged" versions by pushing back the diagonal edges by .5mm and deepening the magnet holes by .5mm. These tweaks will help the two halves of the part fit together more smoothly after printing. A few days later, on August 28, 2018, I rounded off the corners (in files with "RC" in the name) and slightly enlarged the magnet holes to prevent the print from breaking when installing the magnets. On September 5, 2018, I introduced a new modified version featuring two solid sides, which requires only 8 magnets per box. For the side magnets, you can install them on either one or both sides; I've provided spots for you to choose your preference. On September 14, 2018, I added versions with and without the "M" logo that include a "Book" and "Cemetery" element, perfect for Library & Graveyard specific editions. On the 21st of September, I uploaded a Deck/Sideboard separator, available in versions with and without the "M" logo, as well as each Mana color. Finally, on September 26, 2018, I introduced a newer version of the Rounded Corner 2x box and uploaded a version cut into pieces so it can be printed flat at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3121607. On September 28, 2018, I removed all the Deckbox Separators and uploaded them to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3125571. On October 2, 2018, I re-uploaded all the STLs with revised filenames that accurately identify what you're downloading – V1, V2, V3, or V4. I also cut V4 into pieces and uploaded it to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3133467 as V5, featuring various mana symbols available as well.
