MTG Deck Book Box 60 card + Sideboard
thingiverse
Inspired by a design found on Thingiverse, I decided to create my own deckbook that meets my specific needs: - Holds 60 single-sleeved cards plus 15 sideboard cards with a separator - A drawer for storing dice and counters - A place for two spindown dice (one for me and one for the opponent or two for me when playing lifegain) - A designated area for the graveyard - Less plastic usage, resulting in faster print times This project was an engaging challenge to design, and I'm pleased with the outcome. The front and back covers feature grooves that aid in aligning parts for gluing. If your printer struggles with bridging on these parts, enable brim support and glue the part on top of it. This approach worked well for me. Four 2mm-thick and 10mm-diameter magnets keep the book shut. All parts were printed using PETG filament and glued together using contact adhesive. Print settings: - For the "discard" part, use a higher layer height to achieve a page-like appearance. - I printed all internal components except for the sideboard separator at 0.37mm layers, while the external parts were printed at 0.1mm. - The hinges used 1.75mm filament. Feel free to provide feedback and let me know if you like it.
