<h3>About the MUC GUARD</h3><p>The MUC GUARD is a printable mud guard for your mountain bike which can be mounted with only <strong>4 zip ties</strong>! It keeps the mud and water out of your face and protects a section of the downtube from the gunk ;).&nbsp;</p><p>It is possible to mount the MUC GUARD on the <strong>rear frame</strong> with the extra mounting holes on the top of the guard. This works on fullys as well as on hardtails.&nbsp;</p><p>The guard is available with <strong>slits or holes</strong> for the zip ties to pass through. Slits might add more rigidity to the MUC GUARD overall, depending on the size of the zip ties being used.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Printing</h3><p>The entire part easily fits on a 220x220mm bed (Ender 3/pro/v2/s1…) and also on the Prusa mk3 (<strong>min bed size ca. 200x200</strong>). Printing on other printers hasn't been tested.</p><p>Personally, I've printed these in <strong>PLA</strong> but would also recommend <strong>PETG</strong>, since it's generally more flexible and durable outside in the elements. Recommended layer height: <strong>0.2mm</strong></p><p>Material cost range between 20-55ct depending on which filament brand is being used. Compared to the asking-prices of most bike retailers for such guards (5-12€), this is an absolute no-brainer!</p><p>MUC GUARD with or with out type in the download section</p><p>Happy printing!</p>
