MTB flash light mount
thingiverse
This is built to fit snugly onto the thick part of a mountain bike's handle bar. It's engineered to stay centered on the handle bar at all times. For optimal performance, the bar should measure between 30-35 mm in diameter so it can securely grasp the holder. To assemble, simply use one M4 bolt and nut; smaller or larger sizes may work with some adjustments. I chose a bolt and nut from the Harbor Freight set for $5, which included 260 pieces. Be careful not to overtighten the nut, as this could cause the holder to crack. A flashlight is attached to the platform using zip ties and can be easily removed or reattached to the bike by sliding the entire assembly forward. Make sure the flashlight platform is positioned so that its matching opening aligns with the mount and platform, allowing it to slide forward smoothly rather than backward. This ensures the flashlight won't shift forward during braking or jumping.
