A simple face shield frame design crafted to pair perfectly with thin (0.8mm to 1.0mm) acrylic sheets and rubber bands, along with optional ear protectors for added security. Cut the shield material carefully with a heated blade guided by a straight edge, resulting in a precise cut that measures between 12" to 12.12" in length and 9.5" to 10" in width. Next, drill a 1/4" hole exactly 1.5" away from one of the long edges, situated midway between the two short edges, approximately 6" from a short edge and 1.5" away from one of the 12" edges. To add a touch of finesse to the design, profile the two bottom corners of the shield using a guide and the same heated blade. For this step, utilize a small 5 lb weight as a guide for the curved cut. To assemble the face shield frame, push the center peg through the hole drilled earlier, then gently tuck the two edges into the frame. Secure the assembly with one or two large rubber bands, positioning an ear guard in between.
