It keeps mud and dirt from getting stuck on the front wheel's chain. Published, this idea works fantastically well on my bike, but every bicycle has its own unique geometry, so chances are high that it won't fit yours perfectly. oslona_wciecia...stl is the next iteration, featuring a larger diameter than before since the previous one was too small and would twist when shifting gears. Weighing in at 50 grams, this new model is lighter.
