I've designed a hook that's strong enough to hold a mountain bike securely against the ceiling. It's specifically engineered to attach to a wooden beam, ensuring stability and reliability. The design features two holes at the bottom for 4mm screws, while three additional holes on the base plate accommodate 5mm screws, which are responsible for carrying the main weight. To distribute the weight evenly, it's recommended to use washers when screwing in those three 5mm screws. As illustrated in the attached image, I've intentionally left sufficient space around the hook to securely hold a mountain bike by its saddle, taking into account the center of gravity. You can easily place your bike there without needing any additional straps or ropes for support. To further customize the design according to your specific ceiling and/or mountain bike setup, I've included an F3D file that allows you to make adjustments as needed.
