My brother requested that I print four of these https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1802562 for his mountain bike helmets. The original design is good but the round screw holes weren't very printer friendly so I converted them into hexagons to allow printing on its side without any support structure. I also added a counter-sunk hexagonal space for the screw head so it won't catch on your bike helmet. Additionally, I included a chamfer on all edges to eliminate hard 90-degree corners that could be rough on helmets. The screw mount holes are spaced 53mm apart, accommodating up to 4mm diameter screws with a counter-sunk space suitable for up to 8mm diameter 2mm thick heads. The prints were made using my Prusa i3 Mk3 in PLA at a 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill with no support needed.
