At 14,505 feet, Mt Whitney stands as the highest peak within the lower 48. This is part of a series I'm calling "Collectible Mountains." Each model in this series is rendered at a scale of 1:100,000. The model itself represents an area of 10km by 10km. Situated at sea level, the bottom of the model allows for accurate comparisons between mountains.
