Mt Fuji Parts

Hi there. I crafted the Mt. Fuji in walnut, utilizing American cherry wood for the central piece - maple would have been a better choice due to contrast issues. My inspiration stems from dom.riccobene's incredible content on Instagram. A 2 flute 6mm bit was used for approximately 80% of the work, operating at 3600mm/min feed rate and 25,000rpm spindle speed. For Mt. Fuji's finish, a 2mm radial bit was employed, running at 1000mm/min feed rate and 25,000rpm spindle speed. You can also opt for wooden (8mm round) columns instead of the small aluminum ones. The large central piece should be made from soft metal to accommodate smoke-emitting incense. Never leave it unattended if the incense is still glowing! You can download Mt.Fuji's (the Top) file at https://grabcad.com/library/japan-s-mt-fuji-1 and scale it down to 50%.
