MT Explorer Scout
myminifactory
The MakerTron Explorer Scout is crafted for the MakerTron Design Contest on pinshape. This innovative design aims to enable MT bots to explore new territories and expand their population. Inspired by Andres Parada's keywords: toy, retro, simple, basic, and modular, the Explorer Scout embodies these principles in its design. The legs of the model were reinvented to stand out from the crowd, drawing inspiration from Walle.e. The prints featured showcase a minimum-quality print with maximum speed settings. To achieve superior results, use best quality settings. The design prioritizes simplicity to ensure it can be printed on any printer and anywhere. Many components can be produced without support material. Cables and eye lines are omitted, utilizing 1.75mm filament instead. Recommended printing settings include a hot or cold printbed, with a maximum thickness of 0.2 mm for optimal results. A nozzle size between 0.3mm to 1mm is recommended, along with PLA filament in either 2.85mm or 1.75mm diameter.
