This hollow tube enables you to run servo wires and any other wire conveniently. A pivot is established in the front, allowing side-to-side flexibility in your chassis. In the photos, I employed ball screws and ball cups. It's advisable to use captured ends, which I'm eagerly awaiting for arrival. The required turnbuckle length should be 34-36 mm, depending on the length of your ends. If you neglect to include this turnbuckle, your chassis will also flex front-to-back, a scenario you'll want to avoid. I personally tested the tube's strength in my hands before installation, and I strongly recommend that you do the same to ensure you're not installing a faulty part on your chassis. You may need to run servo wires first before installing the stock mounting screws. Set the turnbuckle to match the distance of your stock chassis brace from both mounting holes on the ends. This mod might be a step in the right direction or not, but it's an option worth exploring as you experiment with different car set-ups and see what works best for you. Enjoy the process and have fun! I've included Sketchup files for those who'd like to modify their tube. You could add a battery mount option for top-mount weight distribution or pursue any other creative idea that comes to mind.
