MST RasPi Case Fan Grill Collection

after printing the great Modular Snap Together Case by Sneaks for a Raspberry Pi 4 I wanted a grill to keep a little dust and fingers out of the fan. It’s my own design and not a remix but for linking reasons I labeled it as one.so this is the result of my trial, as you can tell I got carried away a little…the 10+15+15+10 uploaded versions include an empty one for your own designs if you like the fit of the frame but none of the patterns. 0.9mm seems to be a good height for the patterns to be strong and flexible (when printed in PETG).the patterns called „MST RasPi Case FanGrill_berry“, „MST RasPi Case FanGrill_berries“ „RasPi Case FanGrill_smallcircles“and „RasPi Case FanGrill_prusa“ and some others are quite dense and might reduce the airflow significantly, but should still do the trick with passive cooling - not testet. in general most of the designs individualize the case but are not performance efficient.the whole grill is supposed to bend a little to the outside when pressing it into the opening, it’s a mixture of snapping in and spring-forces that keep it in place.had good results printing in PETG at 0.1 layers with standard prusaslicer settings and it’s a 12-20 minutes print depending on the version.test-printed only for the opening of the original part called „__raspi_module_1_01-SNAP-IN FAN.STL“ but since the opening diameter of the fan doesn’t change it should fit other versions too.Thanks to the creators of the designs I used for this!octopi logo by KORSiRO at thingiverseraspberry logo by Lammesky at printablesPrusa logo by ToxicMaxi at printablesprintables logo by C2Coder at printablesdrop design by LinuTec at printablesopen hardware logo by Maeshmaker at printablesgreen Update: 15 additional grill designspurple Update: another 15 grill designsred Update: the last 10 grill designs for nowPrint Settings:no brimno supportsinfill doesn’t matter0.2 first layer is fine0.1 layer height3 parameters and 5 full layers top/bottom should lead to 100% infillas always I highly appreciate every like, rating or make, same for remixing and sharing.donations will be forwarded to sea-watch.org
