<p>Requires 4 nuts, and 4x20 counter sunk M5 machine bolts per shoe (8 of each for a pair) to assemble. The 50mm wide guard is designed to be wide enough for a typical female heel, while the 66mm wide guard is for men, if needed.</p> <p>This fix came about after my partner complained of her heel slipping on her Lightning Ascents, while climbing. This made the snowshoe counter-productive when ascending, leading to hip issues after long days.
