MSM MK-IV Space Eraser

I'm excited to showcase the Monoprice Select Mini Space Eraser, carefully crafted to make printing with TPE-80A flexible filament a seamless experience. Yes, I've tried printing with this rubbery material before, and let me tell you, it didn't exactly go as planned. No matter how much I tweaked the temps, speeds, or flow rates, the filament just wouldn't cooperate, stubbornly exiting the feeder instead of flowing smoothly down the Bowden tube like I wanted. I knew I was taking a risk when I purchased the filament, but I'm not one to give up easily. So, I took a closer look and realized that filling in some of those pesky gaps might be just what I needed. I packed in some washers here, added a plastic fork over there, and managed to clip everything together – voilà! The result is this clever little design, born from my 3D printer's capabilities. After some careful measuring (or not-so-careful, depending on how you look at it) and successive approximations, I came up with something that works beautifully. This nifty device occupies the space where the filament wanted to go instead of down the tube, locking in place securely and doing its job without a hitch. And yes, my Monoprice Select Mini, complete with Bowden tube, can print parts out of TPE-80A filament – it's some pretty cool stuff. As for whether this design will fit your feeder, I'm not entirely sure – it's quite custom to mine and required a bit of filing to get just right. But if it doesn't fit, you can always use it as a starting point to create your own solution.
