msi laptop replacement feet

The adhesive on my gaming MSI Phantom laptop's rubber feet has given out, which means it will fail as temperatures begin to rise. Unfortunately, any attempt to use glue is futile due to the slippery surface of the silicone pad. To make matters worse, one of the replacement feet got lost in transit. I'm planning to install these new feet by hot gluing them over the existing foot wells, which should also give my laptop an extra lift of a few micrometers.
