A fellow MSE-6 Droid friend has upgraded his top greeblies with magnets. To take it to the next level, I decided to improve on his design by concealing my magnets within the base plate itself. Using Tinkercad, I reworked these designs and created holes that enable you to place magnets in the center during the printing process. It's highly recommended to glue them in place as they print to prevent them from being sucked out by any metal objects on the hotend or fan. I utilized a .2 resolution and paused the print at 2.6mm and 5.0mm, confident that these settings would yield optimal results. These are the magnets I selected for my upgrade: 1.26"x1/16" magnets for the base plate can be found here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071JC8282/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 1.26"x1/8" magnets for a dual-layer setup are available at this link: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSTKTSF/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For optimal balance, I use the opposite size on the underside of my shell. If the top layer has 1/8" magnets, the bottom layer features 1/16" magnets and vice versa. Check out this video for a visual representation of my upgrade: https://youtu.be/EB-ZGgbe-AQ
