This hand tool is meant to replace the rod end bearing tool that E-A/B aircraft builders are fabricating from PVC plumbing fittings to install MS rod end bearing on their aircraft. That tool is somewhat expensive to make using plumbing fittings and often doesn't last long and since it's all glued up, it can not be repaired. My tool is made of two parts where the socket could be pulled out from the handle and be replaced by another one having different specifications or simply because it got damaged somehow. It is specifically design to accommodate M3414M, MD3614M, CM-4M, F3414M and F3514M rod end bearings found on most small aircraft kits.
