MS Alice TSB-165A Capsule Saddle
thingiverse
This is a printable microphone saddle and post designed to accompany Jules Ryckenbusch's Instructable for creating a self-contained mid-side microphone: http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-the-MS-Alice-Stereo-Microphone/ I documented my build here: https://tombenedict.wordpress.com/2016/11/11/building-the-ms-alice-microphone-part-1/ https://tombenedict.wordpress.com/2016/11/23/building-the-ms-alice-microphone-part-2/ My printed version was created at Shapeways, but I have since acquired my own 3D printer and printed a second one at home. This design fits the mounting hole pattern of the Neewer NW-800 microphone body, and should also fit many other BM-800 microphones. It is specifically designed for use with the Transsound TSB-165A capsule featured in Jules' article. If you choose to use a different capsule, you will need to redesign the part. Print Settings: Supports: Yes Notes: This design can be printed on almost any printer. A raft is optional, but supports are necessary for the lower arms of figure-eight capsules to print correctly. The M2.5 clearance holes may need to be opened up to full size if your printer under-sizes them.
