MRoBot

This little guy is my entry into the MakerBot competition. Having no previous knowledge of 3D printing or how to use Sketchup and with no access to a 3D printer, I tried to make a robot. He didn't come out exactly as I imagined him, but I quite like how he looks, all rough and unfinished, and will continue to improve him as you can see that there is a lot of room for improvement. He was created with the sole purpose of holding things for you, as shown with him bravely holding a pencil almost twice his size! Unfortunately I have no idea what 3D printers can and cannot do, and some people's 3D designs seem to conflict with my concept of the laws of 3D printing, so I hope that my design is printable and that I have uploaded it correctly, but I cannot make any promises. :P Any comments, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the great competition, I think that I will look into purchasing a Thing-o-Matic and learn proper 3D design. And well done to whoever wins!
