MRM Reaper Battery Plate
thingiverse
Tired of constantly replacing my batteries due to wear on the base plate of my Stretch Reaper, I decided to take action. Designed to slide into the bottom of your 5mm Reaper frame are four knobs on the print that provide a secure fit. I initially used this modification on my Stretch Reapers (217) and found it to be a game-changer. However, upon further use, I discovered that the original design did not adequately protect larger batteries like the 5S. To address this issue, I created a revised version of the print with increased dimensions, which now covers more of the screws on the bottom of the Reaper. I'm pleased to share this updated design with you, and I hope you enjoy it! Subsequent modifications were made to the original file to increase the hole size, ensuring clearance for screw heads. Additionally, the thickness was increased by 1/2 mm to provide extra clearance for wider batteries like the 5S.
