The design comprises an excavator and a container that work together seamlessly. A lever is used to engage and disengage the container from the excavator for easy loading and unloading of regolith. The construction of the drum closely resembles existing drums, with aluminium sheet metal panels assembled into place using rods. Stainless steel cutting edges are securely riveted to scoops to ensure optimal performance. The total mass of the drum is approximately 3.8 kilograms. Measuring 445 by 357 millimeters in size, the bucket dimensions provide ample space for regolith collection. With an internal volume of 46.16 litres, the drum can hold a significant amount of material. The volume of regolith collected is 26.2 litres, resulting in a fill ratio of 56.75%.
