At work, we're configuring MRAPs for astronaut rescue missions. These ex-military vehicles were missing essential parts, including antenna brackets on the hood to install a massive 50" LED light bar for nighttime operations. I could have fabricated the originals from steel, but it wasn't necessary for our application. Once printed, they were expertly painted to match the original finish. A picture shows two brackets lying on a pickup truck bed - one is an original (rusting) bracket, and the other I printed. It's uncertain whether anyone else in the world would find this file useful, but MRAPs are being used by law enforcement departments across the country. They might benefit from it. The mounting holes align perfectly with the original pattern. I utilized 1/4-20 stainless steel fasteners for the light brackets. The original hood hinge mounting hardware was used to secure the brackets to the vehicles securely. This simple design was created in Sketchup, and modifications can be made as needed.
