Mr. Tenka's Coffee Maker
thingiverse
Here is a 1:6 Scale Coffee Maker that I designed, capable of functioning with a Z Scale water pump. Note that the heating plate does not get hot; it has a removable coffee filter and pot. You'll need to resize the back and bottom to fit. Additionally, drill two small holes for dowels to attach both lids - top and pot. A micro rocker on/off switch is required, wiring the water pump to it. Don't forget a DC transformer and a DC train transformer to make this work like the real thing. I've just added another piece that holds the water pump line in place; align it with the drip hole and glue it down. Insert the pump hose through the restraint and carefully glue it at the top end. Add some brown-colored water, turn on the switch, and watch it perk! Warning: don't overfill the water chamber to avoid a coffee pot overflow or a big mess...oh no! Also, be sure to thicken everything up and flip the coffee pot upside down before printing. This design was created using Sketchup and is compatible with Makerbot software only.
