Mr.Roomba V1 Revised PlasticAntweight/Antweight Ring Spinner
thingiverse
This is Version 1 of Mr.Roomba, my antweight ring spinner, completely revised with all the insights gained from V2 to V5 of Roomba. Required Components: Battery: Use ZIPPY Compact 500mAh 3S (or smaller down to 300mah 3s). Switch: The Fingertech mini power switch is a must-have; an Endbots switch version will be available soon. Drive ESC: Choose either the Endbots DEC, Endbots Budget DEC, or fingertech tiny ESC. Drive Motor: Select N20 30:1/1000RPM or Lower RPM for optimal performance. Wheels: Fingertech Thin Snap Hubs with Thin 1.75in foam wheels are the perfect choice. Weapon ESC: A 20-35A Blheli/Blheli_32 ESC is a must, with a minimum of 20A. Weapon Motor: Any 2205 to 2206 Brushless outrunner will do. Receiver: Use any 3+ch receiver that suits your radio protocol flavor. Bearings: Choose from any 608 skateboard bearings; Ceramic is highly recommended. Screws: 6 M3x25mm flat head screws (for the ring) 4 M3x8mm flat head screws (to secure the weapon motor) 8 M3x20-10mm flat head screws (for top/bottom skids and top plate) 4 M4x20-25mm button head screws (for impactors) 4 M4x25mm button head screws (to secure bearings down) 4 M4 nuts (to hold bearings down under the frame) If you're building the impactor ring, I've included DXF and schematic files to help with cutting or manual cutting. This is a work in progress. A more detailed instruction animation and additional information will be available soon. This design was created specifically for a combat robot design competition: http://forum.endbots.com/thread/41/endbots-design-contest-october-2018
